Somesh Dash

Somesh Dash is a General Partner at IVP, a major technology-focused venture capital firm, and is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before joining IVP in 2005, he worked as an analyst in the corporate finance division at Credit Suisse and gained early venture capital experience at Lux Capital. Throughout his tenure as an institutional investor, Dash has specialized in enterprise software, cybersecurity, and data infrastructure, leading or participating in major funding rounds for recognizable technology companies such as Datadog, CrowdStrike, and Rubrik. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University. Today, his primary focus remains on identifying and scaling high-growth, late-stage technology enterprises while managing significant capital deployments across the firm's multi-billion dollar investment funds.
