Somik Behera is a technology leader and investor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and completed graduate coursework in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. Before transitioning into venture capital, Behera held engineering and product management roles at early-stage technology firms focused on data infrastructure and artificial intelligence. Operating within the enterprise software ecosystem, he maintains professional networks with major venture firms like Sequoia Capital and Greylock Partners, while focusing on domains similar to Databricks. He primarily targets seed and Series A investments in artificial intelligence tools, enterprise software-as-a-service, and data platforms.
