Sophia Bendz

Sophia Bendz is a General Partner at Cherry Ventures based in Stockholm, Sweden, where she focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage investments across Europe. Prior to her venture capital career, she spent seven years as the Global Marketing Director at Spotify, leading the platform's international expansion. She later served as a Partner and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Atomico, creating the firm's Angel Programme while building a personal portfolio of over 40 angel investments across Europe and North America. Additionally, she co-founded the AllBright.se foundation and previously acted as an innovation advisor to the Swedish Prime Minister. At Cherry Ventures, she recently helped launch the firm's €300 million Fund IV and was recognized as Business Insider’s top European seed investor in 2022. Her current investment focus centers on early-stage technology startups operating within the climate tech, impact, and women's health sectors.
