Soroush Saryazdi

Soroush Saryazdi is the Co-founder of Swerve, a Y Combinator-backed startup, and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to launching his current venture, he served as the AI Lead and Deep Learning Research Engineer at Matic Robots from 2021, where he directed the neural networks team focused on scene understanding and robot perception. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Concordia University between 2019 and 2021, conducting research alongside the REAL Lab at Mila. During his academic and professional career, he developed the open-source library gradslam, which accumulated over 1,100 stars on GitHub, and contributed as a reviewer for major conferences including NeurIPS, ICLR, and ICML. His technical background centers on applying neural networks to 3D geometry and perception systems, which he now leverages to build consumer AI video products.
