Spencer Krug

Spencer Krug is a Partner at RiverPark Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has managed deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management for the venture group under the RiverPark Funds umbrella managing over $3 billion in assets. Prior to his venture capital career, Krug worked as a Consultant at LEK Consulting specializing in private equity due diligence, and he gained operational experience as an early hire at the sports nutrition marketplace CampusProtein. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and financial analysis from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, where he previously taught freshman business courses. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant, he focuses on early-stage investments while actively mentoring startup founders through Backstage Capital and running the VC Fit program for the tech community.
