Stephan Schulze

Stephan Schulze is an Investment Director at IBB Ventures in Berlin, Germany, where he currently leads the firm's Industrial Technologies investment team. Operating within the venture capital arm of Investitionsbank Berlin, he helps manage over €250 million in total funds under management and oversees a portfolio of 65 active early-stage companies. His investment activities involve backing Berlin-based startups alongside more than 300 institutional co-investors, with notable portfolio companies including Thermondo, Ubitricity, and Lumenaza. Before transitioning to the venture capital sector over two decades ago, Schulze worked in real estate project development as a Project Manager at Herlitz Falkenhöh and previously served as a Controller at Kiki Petermann Leckerland. Leveraging his formal industrial engineering background, his current investment focus centers on identifying early-stage venture opportunities in sustainable production processes and cost-efficient industrial technology solutions.
