Stephen Schmalhofer

Stephen Schmalhofer is a Partner at Teamworthy Ventures based in Greenwich, Connecticut. In this role, he focuses on early-stage software investments ranging from $1 million to $5 million across pre-seed to Series B funding rounds. His investment portfolio spans fintech, insurtech, and sales and marketing SaaS, with notable backing of consumer and enterprise companies such as SeatGeek and UserInterviews. Schmalhofer currently serves on the board of directors for Hunt Club and Uncountable, while also leading the venture firm's Summer Associate program. Before joining Teamworthy, he led business development for a New York education technology startup and began his financial career at Swiss Re Capital Markets after earning a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale College. His current focus remains on identifying and financing high-growth software and marketplace startups across the United States.
