Steve Anavi is the co-founder and President of Qonto, a European business finance platform based in Paris, France. Since launching the company in 2017 alongside Alexandre Prot, Anavi has scaled the neobank to serve over 400,000 small and medium-sized enterprises across four distinct markets. Under his leadership, Qonto reached a €4.4 billion valuation in 2022 following a €486 million Series D funding round backed by institutional investors including Tiger Global and Tencent. Prior to this venture, Anavi co-founded the connected hardware startup Smokio, which was successfully acquired in 2015, and he previously worked in strategy consulting at Deloitte. He holds an engineering degree from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and a master's degree from INSEAD. His professional background centers on leveraging technology and product design to build scalable financial infrastructure for modern entrepreneurs.
