Steve Jurvetson

Steve Jurvetson is the Managing Partner at Future Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. Prior to co-founding this firm, he spent nearly two decades as a Managing Partner at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, where he led early-stage investments in various transformative technology companies. His investment portfolio spans over 50 companies and includes notable early backing of SpaceX, Tesla, and Planet Labs, contributing to his current firm's management of more than $2 billion in assets. Recently, he directed a $125 million fund toward artificial intelligence and climate technology, participated in Anduril Industries' $1.5 billion funding round in 2024, and assumed a 2025 advisory role with xAI. Holding an MBA and two electrical engineering degrees from Stanford University, Jurvetson focuses his current venture capital efforts on deep tech, autonomous systems, and space exploration.
