Steve Olechowski

Steve Olechowski is the Managing Partner at Overlap Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before transitioning into the venture capital industry, he served as the Head of Operations at the fintech unicorn Brex and held earlier operational roles at DoorDash and Bridge. Olechowski holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and currently manages over $50 million in total assets under management at Overlap Ventures. Since assuming his current leadership role in January 2025, he has built a portfolio of more than 20 companies, recently leading a $4 million seed round for the AI sales platform Reprise and investing in Mach. His investment strategy and advisory work primarily focus on scaling go-to-market operations for early-stage startups operating within the B2B SaaS, fintech, and enterprise software sectors.
