Steve Roger

Steve Roger is the Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Scanbase, a seed-stage healthcare technology startup. Prior to launching this venture, he worked as a Software Engineer at LinkedIn, contributing to a broader professional career that spans over 10 years of building enterprise-level application programming interfaces and software products. At Scanbase, a Y Combinator-backed company, he currently leads the engineering and development of an API platform utilized by at-home medical test manufacturers. His technical architecture enables the automated analysis of diagnostic test photographs for specific medical conditions, including COVID-19, influenza, RSV, and sexually transmitted diseases. Roger previously earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. His current professional focus centers on driving technical innovation within the medical diagnostics sector by scaling reliable computer vision and API solutions for modern healthcare enterprises.
