Steve Sloane

Steve Sloane is a Partner at Menlo Ventures, where he leads Series B and C investments through the firm's Inflection Fund. He joined the venture capital firm as an associate in 2015, advanced to principal in 2017, and was promoted to his current partnership role in 2019. Prior to his tenure at Menlo Ventures, Sloane worked in growth-stage investing at Insight Venture Partners in New York and founded a social technology startup backed by Y Combinator. He holds bachelor's degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University, alongside a minor in robotics and intelligent systems. Throughout his career, he has directed capital into prominent portfolio companies including ShipBob, 6 River Systems, and Eleos Health. Sloane currently focuses his investment strategy on identifying fast-growing enterprise software companies operating within the artificial intelligence, vertical SaaS, and supply chain automation sectors.
