Steve Wozniak

Steve Wozniak is a technology entrepreneur and symbolic employee at Apple Inc., based in San Jose, California. He co-founded the company in 1976 alongside Steve Jobs, pioneering the personal computer revolution through his engineering work on the Apple I and Apple II systems before stepping down as an active employee in 1985. Following his active tenure at Apple, Wozniak founded multiple ventures, including the universal remote control company CL 9 and wireless technology firm Wheels of Zeus in 2001. He later served as Chief Scientist at enterprise storage companies Fusion-io from 2009 to 2014 and Primary Data in 2014, while also holding board positions at Danger Inc. and Ripcord Networks. The University of California, Berkeley alumnus maintains an ongoing affiliation with Apple, receiving an estimated $120,000 annual stipend while focusing on technology innovation, electronics engineering, and education advocacy.
