Steven Kantowitz

Steven Kantowitz is a Managing Partner at Energy Impact Partners based in New York, New York. He joined the firm in 2022 to lead private equity and late-stage growth investments across clean energy, software, and industrials for the platform, which manages over $4.5 billion in assets across more than 100 portfolio companies. Prior to this role, he spent nearly a decade at Warburg Pincus focusing on power and renewable energy investments. He began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse, executing mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged finance transactions for utility clients. Kantowitz holds a Bachelor of Science summa cum laude in Finance and Economics from the NYU Stern School of Business and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
