Stuart Coulson is a Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an Adjunct Professor at the Stanford d.school, based in Silicon Valley, California. In his academic capacity, he leads the Design for Extreme Affordability program, which has generated projects and startups reaching over 100 million people globally. Before transitioning to academia, he co-founded Gradient Solutions, a web-based travel e-commerce platform that was subsequently acquired by Sabre Corporation. He holds a computer science degree from Trinity College Dublin and an EMBA in International Wealth Management from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. Coulson also serves on the Provost's Council at Trinity College Dublin and is a founding member of the university's Trinity Angels investment group. His current professional focus centers on early-stage technology investing, social impact entrepreneurship, and developing design-driven solutions for global poverty.
