Subomi Oluwalana

Subomi Oluwalana is the Co-Founder and CEO of Convoy, an open-source webhooks gateway platform, and is currently based in Nigeria. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Landmark University and completed a postgraduate diploma in computer science from the University of Lagos. Prior to co-founding Convoy, Oluwalana held various technical roles across multiple financial and technology organizations, serving as a Back End Developer at BuyCoins and Tangerine Life, and as a Technical Lead at MKOBO Microfinance Bank. He successfully guided Convoy through the Y Combinator W22 batch and recently oversaw the rapid two-week launch of its multi-cloud SaaS solution using Omnistrate, which resulted in a 200 percent increase in active users. His current focus centers on developing scalable open-source infrastructure and developer tools while balancing community-driven development models with long-term commercial viability.
