Sugam Sarin

Sugam Sarin is a Partner at Point72 Ventures, where he leads the firm's dedicated financial technology investment practice. Before joining his current firm, he began his professional career working as an investment banker within the Financial Institutions Group at Citigroup. During his tenure in investment banking, he covered traditional banking institutions and specialty finance businesses before transitioning into the venture capital industry. At Point72 Ventures, he works alongside fellow investors like Tara Stokes, Chris Morales, and Ishan Sinha to deploy capital across core financial sectors including payments, capital markets, and wealth management. His broader investment mandate also extends into specialized vertical markets, evaluating financial technology applications within sports, gaming, and environmental, social, and governance platforms. Sarin currently focuses on identifying, evaluating, and funding emerging financial infrastructure and technology companies to expand the firm's investment portfolio.
