Sujay Tyle

Sujay Tyle is a Venture Partner at Balderton Capital and an active angel investor with a portfolio of twenty investments, based in the United States. Prior to his current advisory role, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Merama, and was the co-founder and Global CEO of Frontier Car Group. Under his leadership, Frontier Car Group scaled across multiple emerging markets before being acquired by OLX Group and Naspers for approximately $700 million in December 2019. Earlier in his career, Tyle was the Chief Operating Officer on the founding team of Hired.com, and he holds a JD, an MBA, and a BA from Harvard University. Recognized as a Thiel Fellow and a Goldman Sachs Top 100 Intriguing Entrepreneur, his current focus centers on technology-driven e-commerce, marketplace, and fintech businesses in Latin America.
