Sunwoo Lee

Sunwoo Lee is currently a Managing Partner at Atland Ventures, a student-run venture capital firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Operating out of the University of Minnesota, she co-leads the organization alongside her co-Managing Partner Kiley, overseeing deal flow generation, internal team dynamics, and external networking events. The investment vehicle targets early-stage technology companies at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages that specifically address challenges relevant to the Generation Z demographic. Under her leadership, the fund evaluates investment opportunities across diverse sectors such as financial technology, health technology, digital media, and consumer software, typically writing initial check sizes ranging from $25,000 to $50,000 per transaction. Lee currently focuses on building strategic, long-term relationships between student analysts, emerging startup founders, and the broader venture capital ecosystem while facilitating hands-on experiential learning opportunities for university undergraduates.
