Suraj Shah

Suraj Shah is a Vice President at Norwest Venture Partners based in Menlo Park, California, where he focuses on healthcare investments across digital health, medical devices, and biopharma. Since joining the firm, he has supported investments in eight active healthcare portfolio companies, including Omada Health, Courier Health, and Vertos Medical, which was recently acquired by Stryker. Prior to his venture capital career, Shah worked as a Senior Business Analyst in the healthcare practice at Kearney and gained corporate experience in business development at UnitedHealth Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with honors from Johns Hopkins University, where he directed the MedHacks hackathon and led the student venture fund A-Level Capital. Shah currently leverages his engineering background and strategic consulting experience to source and evaluate emerging technology-enabled healthcare and diagnostic platforms.
