Susan Kimberlin

Susan Kimberlin is a San Francisco-based angel investor currently serving as a Founding Limited Partner and Venture Partner at Backstage Capital, and a General Partner at AccelepriseSF. She holds a portfolio of investments across more than 25 early-stage technology companies and a handful of venture funds, primarily targeting SaaS products and enterprises promoting social equity. Prior to her investing career, Kimberlin spent 15 years in operational roles, including a seven-year tenure at Salesforce from 2007 to 2014 where she established product teams for search features and platform infrastructure. Her earlier technology experience includes product management and engineering positions at PayPal and various startups, leveraging her academic background in linguistics, natural language processing, and machine learning. Today, her primary focus remains advising emerging founders on product and fundraising strategies while integrating diverse demographics into the broader innovation economy.
