Susan Lyne

Susan Lyne is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of BBG Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Before transitioning to venture capital, she held prominent executive roles across the media and e-commerce sectors, serving as President of ABC Entertainment, CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia from 2004 to 2008, and CEO of Gilt Groupe from 2008 to 2013. She also served as CEO of the AOL Brand Group and held executive vice president positions at The Walt Disney Company. Since launching BBG Ventures in 2014, Lyne has raised three funds, including a $60 million vehicle announced in 2024, to invest in more than 75 companies. Additionally, she holds corporate board seats at GoPro and Blade Air Mobility. Her current investment strategy focuses on backing underrepresented founders across sectors like healthcare transformation, financial inclusion, and vertical artificial intelligence.
