Sylwester Janik

Sylwester Janik is the Founding and Managing Partner at Cogito Capital Partners, operating out of offices in Warsaw, Poland, and New York. Before establishing his current firm, he spent over a decade in senior venture capital roles, most notably serving as a Senior Partner at MCI Capital where he directed European growth technology investments. His academic credentials include a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Gdańsk and a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management of Technology from Cass Business School in London. At Cogito Capital Partners, Janik targets growth equity investments in business-to-business technology enterprises that are actively pursuing international expansion into the United States market. His current investment strategy primarily centers on scaling late-stage startups operating within the financial technology, enterprise software, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and healthtech sectors.
