Takuya Hosomura

Takuya Hosomura is a Partner at Global Brain based in Tokyo, Japan, where he manages corporate venture capital vehicles including the KDDI Open Innovation Funds. Before joining the firm in early 2026, he spent time at Salesforce Ventures, leading 15 new investments in startups such as Aeye Security Lab, Asobica, and FastLabel, alongside multiple follow-on funding rounds. His earlier career includes nearly six years at Rakuten, serving as a Senior Manager at Rakuten Capital and supporting early-stage companies through the firm's corporate accelerator program.
