Tamar Bar-ilan is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Cyera, a venture-backed enterprise data security company. In her executive capacity, she directs the technical development of the firm's data security platforms, focusing on Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Omni Data Loss Prevention (DLP) architectures. She also leads engineering initiatives addressing emerging artificial intelligence risks, helping organizations implement comprehensive enterprise protection strategies across complex cloud environments. Prior to establishing Cyera, Bar-ilan developed her foundational cybersecurity expertise through service in the Israel Defense Forces' elite Unit 8200, a military institution recognized for producing prominent technology leaders.
