Tancrede Collard

Tancrede Collard is the Co-founder and Head of Product at QuestDB, an open-source time series database company based in London, United Kingdom. Prior to establishing the enterprise software startup in 2019 alongside Nicolas Hourcard and Vlad Ilyushchenko, he managed algorithmic trading desks across various global investment banks and cryptocurrency firms. Under his product leadership, QuestDB participated in the Y Combinator W20 cohort and raised a $2.3 million seed funding round, followed by a $12 million Series A in 2021 with backing from investors including Alexis Ohanian. The database platform has since grown to support an open-source community of over 900 developers and 70 contributors, securing major enterprise clients such as Yahoo and Airbus. Collard currently focuses on advancing high-performance computing solutions and enterprise data processing infrastructure for financial services, Web3, and industrial IoT applications.
