Tansel Ismail

Tansel Ismail is a Vice President at Energy Impact Partners, a venture capital firm with over $4 billion in assets under management. Before joining the firm in 2018, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Technology Group at Citigroup, advising software and IT services companies on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Florida. Throughout his tenure as an investor, Ismail has partnered with more than 20 early and growth-stage startups, including cybersecurity developers such as Dragos. In February 2024, he was appointed to the board of directors at 42Crunch following his firm's lead investment in the company. His current investment focus centers on scaling enterprise software and cybersecurity solutions within the broader energy transition sector.
