Tara Hernandez

Tara Hernandez is the President of JCH Properties+, Fund Manager at Reform Ventures, and Managing Broker at Legacy Real Estate Partners in New Orleans, Louisiana. Previously, she served as Vice President of Development at HRI Properties from 1997 to 2006, managing large-scale urban revitalization initiatives. Her real estate portfolio includes the creation of the American Can Apartments, Blue Plate Artist Lofts, Magnolia Marketplace Shopping Center, and the ongoing River District neighborhood. In the venture capital sector, Hernandez participated in First Round Capital’s Angel Track 6 cohort and was recognized by Business Insider as one of 100 rising-star venture capitalists in 2020. She also serves on the board of the Idea Village accelerator to support local entrepreneurs. Her current focus bridges commercial real estate projects with early-stage technology startup investments to drive regional economic growth.
