Taylor Francis is the Co-Founder of Watershed, an enterprise climate sustainability software platform based in San Francisco, USA. Before launching the company with Avi Itskovich and Christian Anderson, he worked at Stripe on the Atlas founder toolkit and the firm's internal climate initiatives, building on his early public policy experience as an organizer for Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. Under his leadership, Watershed has reached a $1.8 billion valuation and currently tracks over one gigaton of carbon emissions, representing approximately two percent of the global footprint. The software platform assists corporate clients such as Visa and Walmart in measuring, reporting, and reducing their environmental impact. Francis focuses on scaling enterprise decarbonization software systems to help global corporations achieve net-zero emissions and reach a collective reduction goal of 500 million tons of carbon dioxide by 2030.
