Tazia Smith

Tazia Smith is the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Closed Loop Capital Management, the investment group of Closed Loop Partners. Before assuming her current position, she served as the firm's Chief Operating Officer and Head of Capital Partnerships, building on a nearly 20-year career in investment banking and sustainable finance. Her prior financial experience includes working as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where she established the Key Client Partners business, and spending seven years in cross-asset sales for private clients at Goldman Sachs. A CFA Charterholder and magna cum laude graduate of Duke University, she also co-founded the IMP+ACT Alliance in 2019 to advance global impact investing standards. Smith currently focuses her efforts on directing private equity, venture capital, and catalytic private credit investments toward circular economy initiatives and sustainable corporate finance.
