Ted Chung

Ted Chung is a co-founder and General Partner at Casa Verde Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focused exclusively on the global cannabis industry. Before transitioning into institutional investing, he established his entrepreneurial background as the founder of the marketing firm Cashmere Agency and the talent management company Stampede Management. Partnering with Calvin "Snoop Dogg" Broadus and Karan Wadhera, Chung helped launch Casa Verde Capital's debut investment fund in 2018 to target ancillary cannabis businesses and cannabinoid derivatives. By December 2020, he had guided the firm to build an active investment portfolio valued at a minimum of $200 million in total assets while simultaneously closing a $100 million second fund. Chung's current professional focus centers on identifying and scaling early-stage enterprises that provide critical infrastructure, technology, and financial services to the broader legal cannabis market.
