Tendai Chisowa

Tendai Chisowa is the Director of Policy and Development at Enveda, where she currently leads sustainability initiatives, global health strategies, investor relations, and government partnerships. Previously, she served as a biotech investor at Hummingbird Ventures, deploying high-conviction investments of up to $10 million into early-stage life sciences founders across the United States and Europe. Chisowa holds a PhD in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, where she researched leptin signaling as a Dr. Herchel Smith Scholar, and earned a double major in Biology and Chemistry from Williams College. As a World Economic Forum Agenda Contributor, she has also helped facilitate strategic partnerships with major organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Her professional background currently focuses on bridging early-stage biotechnology investments with global health policy to advance sustainable, large-scale healthcare solutions.
