Thejo Kote is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Airbase, a corporate spend management software platform. Under his leadership since 2017, the company has grown to nearly 300 employees, surpassed eight-figure annual recurring revenue while processing nearly $3 billion in annual payments, and secured over $250 million in funding from investors including Bain Capital Ventures. Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of Automatic Labs, a Y Combinator-backed connected car technology startup that was acquired by SiriusXM for over $100 million in 2017. Earlier in his career, Kote co-founded the water utility technology firm NextDrop and held technical roles at Infosys before earning a master's from the UC Berkeley School of Information. Today, his professional focus centers on scaling enterprise SaaS and financial technology platforms from early-stage development through strategic acquisition.
