Theodore Janson

Theodore Janson is the CTO and Co-Founder of FINNY, an AI-driven wealthtech platform based in New York, New York. Founded in 2024, the Y Combinator-backed company recently secured a $17 million Series A funding round led by Venrock to develop artificial intelligence tools for financial advisors. Prior to launching FINNY, Janson worked as an applied machine learning engineer at an early-stage fintech startup, where he led the development of statistical models and large language models for financial analysis. He previously conducted academic research in high-energy physics and explainable machine learning while earning a master's degree in artificial intelligence from Ecole Polytechnique and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and mathematics from McGill University. Recognized on the Forbes Under 30 AI list, his current focus centers on building scalable machine learning infrastructure for the wealth management sector.
