Thiago Olson

Thiago Olson is the Founder and Managing Partner of EVE Atlas, a venture capital firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to establishing his current venture firm, he served as the co-founder and CEO of Stratos Technologies, where he developed the Stratos Card, and worked as an electrical engineer after receiving a federal SMART Fellowship in 2009. The entrepreneur holds degrees from Vanderbilt University and Princeton University, and gained early scientific recognition by building a nuclear fusion reactor as a teenager, resulting in the minor planet 23262 Thiagoolson being named in his honor. Through his venture capital firm, he recently led a $7 million seed extension investment in Kayhan Space in September 2023. Olson currently focuses his investments on founders building the physical internet, with a specific emphasis on space technology, satellite operations, and commercial spaceflight safety.
