Thomas Blake

Thomas Blake is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Astrix Health, an artificial intelligence health technology startup based in the United States. The company, which currently operates with approximately two employees, participated in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 cohort and has secured backing from venture capital firms including General Catalyst. In his current executive role, Blake directs the technical strategy, scales operations, and oversees the development of generative AI applications designed to reduce administrative burdens across clinics and hospitals. Prior to establishing Astrix Health, he spent two years at Palantir, where he focused on building early generative artificial intelligence workflows specifically tailored for the commercial healthcare sector. He previously studied Applied Mathematics at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, establishing a strong foundational focus on the intersection of machine learning and modern medical technology.
