Thomas Clute

Thomas Clute is a Principal at Paladin Capital Group based in Washington, D.C. He initially joined the global venture capital firm in 2010 as an Analyst and previously served as a Senior Vice President before assuming his current leadership position. Clute holds both a bachelor's degree and a Master of Management degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Throughout his fourteen-year tenure, he has sourced and executed early-stage investments across the enterprise software sector, managing board responsibilities and portfolio oversight for more than a dozen active companies including Bugcrowd and Secure Code Warrior. His prior investment track record features several successful portfolio exits, such as PhishMe, which was acquired by BlackRock, and Cloud Conformity, which was purchased by Trend Micro. Clute currently focuses his investment strategy on emerging technologies within cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and digital resilience.
