Thomas d’Halluin

Thomas d’Halluin is the Managing Partner at Airbus Ventures in Menlo Park, California, where he oversees investment strategy for the corporate venture arm of Airbus SE. He directs a fund managing $460 million in committed capital across a portfolio of 55 companies spanning aerospace, defense, and deep technology. Under his leadership, the firm has backed notable startups including quantum computing firm IonQ and Japanese robotics company Telexistence, participating in the latter's $170 million Series B round alongside SoftBank. Before transitioning to venture capital in 2013, he served as Chief of Staff to the Airbus Chief Financial Officer and earned a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from McGill University. Drawing on two decades of aerospace industry experience, his current focus centers on funding early-stage deep technology innovations in autonomous mobility, electrification, and next-generation computing.
