Thomas Hessler

Thomas Hessler is an angel investor and Managing Partner at Hessen Ventures based in Berlin, Germany. Previously, he served as the cofounder and Chief Technology Officer at Taxfix, a fintech company that achieved a valuation exceeding $1 billion in 2022. His operational background includes senior leadership positions at Delivery Hero, complemented by a Master of Science from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and angel investing credentials from Stanford University. As an active early stage investor, Hessler has directly invested in more than 50 startups across the European and United States technology ecosystems. In 2023, he formally launched a new fund through Hessen Ventures targeting over €10 million to support regional technology enterprises. His current focus centers on providing capital and strategic advisory support to early stage ventures operating within the fintech, artificial intelligence, and SaaS sectors.
