Thomas Lips

Thomas Lips is a General Partner at Nextech Invest based in Zurich, Switzerland. Before joining the investment firm in 2014, he accumulated over 30 years of executive experience in asset management, notably serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Centrum Bank in Liechtenstein. He holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Zurich and currently serves in several external leadership capacities across various Swiss financial and investment boards. In his current role, he directs private equity allocations toward oncology therapeutics and precision medicine, participating in major biotechnology funding rounds such as a $220 million Series A for Dispatch Bio and a $100 million Series A for NILO Therapeutics. His primary focus remains on scaling global biotechnology investments to support the clinical development of transformative cancer medicines for patients across both the United States and Europe.
