Tim Bunting

Tim Bunting is a Senior Advisor at Balderton Capital, a role he assumed in 2021 after serving as a General Partner at the firm since 2007. Before transitioning to the European venture capital sector, he spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs, where he held senior leadership positions including Partner, Global Head of Equity Capital Markets, and Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs International. Throughout his career, Bunting has guided numerous technology companies, previously serving as the chairman of Betfair, Kobalt, and Nutmeg. He also holds several philanthropic board positions, acting as a trustee for multiple prominent arts, education, and charitable organizations located across the United Kingdom. His current focus remains on advising Balderton Capital's investment strategies and leveraging his extensive equity capital markets expertise to help scale private technology enterprises across the European market.
