Ting Gootee

Ting Gootee is the President and CEO of TechPoint, a technology ecosystem initiative based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to assuming this role in April 2022, she was a founding member and Chief Investment Officer at Elevate Ventures, overseeing a portfolio of more than 400 regional startups. Gootee led investments in over 500 companies across the information technology, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing sectors, generating $1.7 billion in co-invested capital. Her earlier career includes serving as Deputy Director of the 21st Century Research and Technology Fund at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and working as an analyst at Lionhart Investments. She holds degrees from Beijing University, Purdue University, and Indiana University, alongside a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Gootee currently focuses on driving venture capital formation and expanding the broader technology economy throughout the Midwestern United States.
