TJ Parker currently serves as a General Partner at Matrix Partners and is the Founder and lead investor at General Medicine. A pharmacist by training, he is best known as the co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer of PillPack, a digital pharmacy service designed to simplify medication management. During his tenure as chief executive, Parker successfully raised over $100 million in venture capital funding and scaled the organization to a workforce of more than 1,000 employees. Following PillPack's $1 billion acquisition by Amazon in 2018, he remained with the technology corporation for four additional years to spearhead the development and launch of Amazon Pharmacy. Today, Parker leverages his extensive clinical and operational background as a serial entrepreneur to invest in and advise early-stage startups operating across the healthcare, digital health, and consumer technology sectors.
