Tobias Schulz

Tobias Schulz is a Principal and Prokurist at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) based in Bonn, Germany, where he manages early-stage investments in digital technology startups. Prior to joining the venture capital firm in 2017, he gained corporate finance experience in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, and built direct entrepreneurial experience by founding multiple companies in the fashion and fintech sectors. Additionally, he was involved in the early development of Zalando SE and previously served as the operational head at Fashionette GmbH before shifting to the investor side. His academic credentials include a bachelor's degree from EBS Universität, a master's degree from Maastricht University, and coursework at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Schulz currently focuses his investment strategy on early-stage companies operating across business software, artificial intelligence, blockchain, fintech, proptech, and sustainable mobility sectors.
