Todd Kimmel

Todd Kimmel is a veteran venture capitalist and active angel investor with over two decades of professional experience operating and investing in early-stage technology startups. He previously served as a General Partner at First Round Capital from 2007 to 2015, where he led investments across the consumer internet, mobile, and enterprise software sectors. During his eight-year tenure at the firm, Kimmel backed more than forty companies and participated in early funding rounds for notable industry successes including Uber, Warby Parker, and Postmates. Before transitioning to the venture capital industry, he held various operator roles at early technology companies, having previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Amherst College in 1998. Today, his ongoing career focus remains centered on advising startup founders and providing early-stage capital to emerging software, mobile, and consumer technology enterprises.
