Tom Costin

Tom Costin is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Owl Ventures, an education technology venture capital firm. Since the firm's inception in 2014, he has helped scale the organization to become the world's largest EdTech-focused venture fund with over $2 billion in assets under management. Prior to Owl Ventures, Costin served as a Private Investments Specialist at Cambridge Associates, where he advised institutional clients managing between $800 million and $200 billion in assets on their venture capital and private equity portfolios. His earlier career includes roles as an Associate at FLAG Capital and a Senior Associate at Cambridge Associates, alongside earning a bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Costin currently focuses on leading global investments across all stages of education technology, spanning early childhood learning to the future of work.
