Tom Peterson

Tom Peterson is a Venture Partner at Rally Ventures, where he focuses on early-stage enterprise software and infrastructure investments. He brings over 30 years of venture capital experience to the firm, having previously served as a founding member of El Dorado Ventures in 1986 and beginning his investment career at Union Venture Corp. in 1984. Before entering the venture capital industry, Peterson held engineering and management positions at Hewlett-Packard and General Electric. His investment portfolio includes several technology companies that achieved public offerings or strategic acquisitions, such as Braze, Earthlink, and Jigsaw, which was acquired by Salesforce. He also backed Access Health prior to its acquisition by McKesson, Cyras before its sale to Ciena, and MediaQ, which was purchased by NVIDIA. Peterson currently leverages his extensive technical background to support portfolio companies as a specialized technology partner.
