Tom Reno

Tom Reno is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agave, a financial technology infrastructure provider based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing this startup, he worked in the technology sector at Amazon, joining the multinational corporation following its acquisition of the data platform Graphiq. Earlier in his career, Reno developed foundational domain expertise in corporate finance and capital markets while working at Barclays Investment Bank. At Agave, he leads a company building modern banking infrastructure, which successfully secured a $26 million Series A funding round led by Bain Capital Ventures in 2023. The enterprise serves digital platforms by providing the backend systems required to embed banking products directly into their user experiences. Reno leverages his combined background in investment banking and data platforms to focus on scaling API-driven embedded finance solutions.
