Toni Grunwald

Toni Grunwald is the Managing Director and Managing Partner at Max Ventures and the co-founder of Business Angels Mallorca (BAM), based in Mallorca, Spain. Through the establishment of Max Ventures Seed One LLP in the United Kingdom, he structured and raised €500,000 to back early-stage technology companies. His venture portfolio currently includes direct investments in five startups distributed across Mallorca and Barcelona, which have collectively generated a 2.1x paper return over a two-year period. Grunwald also developed Pynn AI, a specialized white-label software tool designed to assist institutional investors with the technical evaluation and analysis of early-stage ventures. Alongside co-founder Patrick Visser, he organizes monthly BAM gatherings to connect local angel investors with scalable business opportunities. His current professional focus remains centered on evaluating early-stage technology startups and fostering the broader venture capital ecosystem in the region.
