Tosin Agbabiaka

Tosin Agbabiaka is an investor on the Fintech team at Octopus Ventures, currently based in London. He originally joined the venture capital firm's New York office in 2018 before subsequently relocating to the United Kingdom to continue his specialized work in financial technology funding. Operating under the broader umbrella of the parent company Octopus Investments, Agbabiaka evaluates early-stage startup opportunities and supports portfolio founders from their initial ideation phases through to their eventual market exits. Prior to his transition into institutional venture capital, he gained direct operational experience working as a technology startup founder and entrepreneur. This background gives him a practical understanding of the challenges associated with scaling new businesses. Agbabiaka now leverages this dual perspective of building and funding enterprises to direct capital toward emerging financial technology platforms across the European and global markets.
